Secure dailies sync — set to editor, encrypted end-to-end.
Coach House Media Sync connects on-set NAS storage directly to your editor's system via an AES-256 encrypted private cloud. Transcoded proxies sync automatically between all locations — no manual transfers, no consumer file services, no unencrypted links.
Rushes on the editor's drive before wrap.
- 01 [ CAM ]Camera media
Rushes captured on set or location, any format.
- 02 [ XCODE ]Proxy transcode
DIT or assistant editor transcodes against DOP/DIT LUT to offline proxies — DNXHD36 for Avid, ProRes Proxy for Premiere.
- 03 [ NAS ]Location NAS
Transcoded media written to RAID NAS at the source location — on set, production office or lab.
- 04 [ SYNC ]Encrypted sync
Coach House Media Sync replicates media AES-256 encrypted across all connected NAS boxes simultaneously.
- 05 [ ED ]Editor's NAS
Media arrives on the editor's local NAS — ready to ingest. No manual transfer, no consumer services, no waiting.
Each production gets a dedicated encrypted cloud environment. NAS units are installed at every location — on set, in the production office, at the editor's cutting room — and sync automatically as soon as proxies are transcoded. Your editor has media available without waiting for a drive to arrive.
NAS RAID at every location
Each connected location — on-set, assistant editor, main editor — gets its own RAID NAS unit. Media is redundant at the source before it ever leaves the location. Loss of a single drive does not interrupt the workflow.
AES-256 end-to-end encryption
All data in transit and at rest is AES-256 encrypted via Coach House Media Sync — our own private cloud platform, not a third-party consumer service. No unencrypted links, no Wetransfer, no Dropbox.
LUT-based proxy transcode
The DIT or assistant editor transcodes camera originals to offline proxies — DNXHD36 for Avid, ProRes Proxy for Premiere — against the DOP or DIT-supplied LUT file. Dailies reflect the intended look from the first frame in the editor's bin.
Transfer monitoring tool
Every sync job is visible in real time via the Coach House Media Sync monitoring interface. Progress, transfer rates, confirmation of successful delivery — accessible to the DIT, assistant editor and production simultaneously.
Multiple editors, one sync
Productions with multiple editorial suites — main editor, assembly editor, VFX editor — can connect any number of NAS locations to the same encrypted sync environment. All locations receive the same media simultaneously.
No consumer services
Consumer file transfer services are not appropriate for production media. Coach House Media Sync is a dedicated, private, production-grade platform — built for the security requirements of broadcast and feature film workflows.

One production, three locations, one sync environment.
A typical long-running TV drama has camera media on set in Hertfordshire, an assembly editor in a Soho post facility, and the main editor working from a production office in West London. Coach House Media Sync connects all three — proxies transcoded on set are available in both editorial suites before the unit wraps for the day.
